The Dental Center History
Lamprey Dental Associates was established when Dr. Paul Silver graduated from Tufts Dental School in Boston and took over the single dentist practice of the retiring Dr. Martin Dionne. A committment was made to develop a group practice and Dr. Silver named the group after the Lamprey River that runs through Raymond, New Hampshire.
Over a twenty eight year period the office has been renovated seven times. The original facility was 350 square feet with one dental chair. Today the office occupies 5,500 square feet on four floors with nine chairs, conference rooms, a training center and many staff support facilities. We now feature general dentistry and periodontal specialty services. The hygiene team has its own suite on the lower level of the building and the dentists work on the main level.
Our dentists are convinced that the group concept best serves dental patients. We collaborate on treatment planning, rotate on-call coverage and keep the patients cared for when a dentist has to be away.
The Laser Center at Lamprey Dental is a one of a kind facility in New Hamphire. Lasers are used for gum surgery, smile-design, preparing teeth for fillings and much more. Both Dr. Silver, the Clinical Director and Dr. Braga, our Periodontist, are both Certified Laser Instructors. Teaching is done in our new training center on site and at many locations around the U.S. and Canada.
Lamprey Dental Associates has been growing with the greater Raymond community for almost three decades.
